Model 525HS The 525HS was designed from a clean sheet of paper with one objective.
To build the world's most versatile compact sweeper that could solve almost all of our customers' hard-surface sweeping problems using only one machine.
The 525HS had to be small enough and light enough to sweep sidewalks and paved areas.
It needed the sweeping performance and capacity previously only found in much bigger sweepers.
...and it needed to travel from one job to another - quickly.
Pulling together nearly 40 years experience of outdoor sweeping machines and harnessing the power of the latest 3-D CAD and advanced manufacturing techniques, we believe we have evolved the most versatile smaller sweeper ever built.
Sidewalks, plazas, curblines, alleys, airport concourses, parking lots, residential neighborhoods, trails, parking garages, downtown districts, children's play areas... it is hard to think of an outdoor sweeping problem that the 525HS can't handle....quickly, quietly and efficiently.

23 mph travel speed, 4 cubic yards of leaves in a 1 cubic yard hopper, maximum 71" sweep path, stainless steel construction, rugged 4-wheel drive, 44" minimum width, half the turning radius of a 3-wheeled street sweeper... Get there in speed, comfort and security. The 525HS gets around fast.
Advanced chassis design using Koni coil-spring independent suspension on all 4 wheels gives a near-automotive quality ride.
And the front axle actually tracks outwards as the speed increases to give wide-stance stability and security at speeds of up to 23 mph.
Previous generation sweepers of this size were often limited to 12 - 15 mph above which a safe and secure ride was not guaranteed.
With the 525HS not only can you get from one sweeping area to another quickly, but getting back to the depot or yard to empty become easy. Powerful Performance. The 525HS uses latest generation technology in many other ways.
The advanced electronic control system at the heart of the machine matches engine and hydraulics to use only the power needed at any given instant - and that means quiet, efficient and environmentally-friendly power.
Combining the ever-reliable Kubota turbo-diesel engine with rugged four wheel drive, the 525HS climbs up a 20% gradient or ramp with plenty of power to spare.
And its powerful brushes and impressive suction performance make quick work of even the heaviest debris. The Sweeper with a big appetite. One of the most remarkable features of the 525 is its huge capacity. The 525 uses the same well-proven compacting impeller system found on other Green Machine models.
The 525 can mulch an astounding 4 cubic yards of leaves or debris into its one cubic yard hopper.
That is larger than many much bigger street and parking lot sweepers.
Careful design means every inch of hopper space is used as the debris loads from the outside into the center thanks to its unique swirl-action design.
You'd never dream of buying a trash truck without a compactor body, so why accept it in a sweeper? No more rocket science. Let's face it. Traditional sweepers often take lots of training to operate. By contrast, the 525 is designed to be used by anyone.
Simple, well thought out controls are coupled to a powerful intelligent control system that takes the complexity out of operating the 525.
It is the same story with maintenance. The 525 was described by one fleet manager as "the best sweeper I've ever seen from a servicing perspective".
With a fully tilting cab and removable access panels, the "clamshell" design of the 525 is a joy to maintain. Goes almost anywhere... With a turning circle half that of a three-wheeled street sweeper, and a low-profile 6'6" clearance height, the 525 can get into places other sweepers don't dare. Parking garages, tree-lined avenues, subways, mass transit shelters - no other sweeper can match its combination of capacity, speed and matchless maneuverability.
But that's not all that a small turning radius means. Even when sweeping wide open spaces like a 200 stall parking lot, the 525 spends so much less time turning around and spends more time sweeping. And that means productivity that matches parking lot sweepers having a much wider sweeping path.
The addition of a 8 foot wanderhose means true one person operation - no more crews with blowers clearing debris from areas your sweeper can't get to.
Hhitting the scales at under 3,400 lbs means no more damaged pavers or collapsed cellar doors as you leave your areas spotlessly clean. And it loads easily onto standard 16' utility trailer if required.
